It’s so nice to meet you!
My name is Amy and I am a nature and documentary wedding photographer based in New York. Growing up on Long Island, taking long walks along the lush estuarial waters of the south shore left indelible impressions in light, in sound, and in color as I continue to wander through that landscape today. Those earliest memories marked the start of my love for photography and the natural world, present even before I could understand it. I was always the friend who brought a point and shoot camera with them everywhere starting as early as 5th grade- whether it was backstage at the school musicals I was in, or documenting every day adventures with my best friends. All of these things led me to receive my BFA in Photography & Video from the School of Visual Arts. Today I continue to explore the visceral experience I have of the natural world, the spiritual connection I feel to place, and the hopefulness a daily practice of engaging with nature brings me.
Just as I find meaning in the changing light and textures of the natural world, I approach weddings with an eye for the organic, the unscripted, and the deeply felt—capturing moments as alive and layered as the landscapes around them. My goal as a photographer is to show how much love, beauty, and hope there truly is. There is so much subtle magic not only in the biggest celebrations, but also in our everyday lives—and I want to help you discover it. Every person I have the honor of photographing I hold close to my heart, so however you found me, thank you so much for being here.
MY VALUES
Kindness, hopefulness, connection, and love.
A deep respect and appreciation for nature.
Embracing the slow, quiet, and imperfect moments.
The landscape is not just a background for me, it’s everything. I highlight nature as its own entity alongside you.
Love in every form deserves to be celebrated.
